History and Development of the Party

From Grassroots Movements to National Leadership

The Party was formed out of a profound aspiration for clean governance, democratic stability, and patriotic development. Pioneers like Babu Ram Prasad Upadhyaya and Pandit Narayan Das Joshi built deep grassroots foundations among peasants, youth, and workers across all regions.

Through decades of dedication and democratic participation, the party expanded across all 7 provinces and 77 districts, consistently championing territorial sovereignty, industrial self-sufficiency, and social security.

Today, under dynamic national leadership, the Party leads the transformation of modern Nepal under the national goal of Samriddha Nepal, Sukhi Nepali (Prosperous Nepal, Happy Nepali).
